about

I was 20 years old in 2007 and the rock band I'd been in since I was 16 was drawing to an end. I recorded this on the family computer using a free program which is still available today called Audacity, all I had was a strange little mic i found under the stereo. i was overflowing with ideas and experimenting.
previous to this i had only recorded on my tape player or in a studio with the band, so it was a turning point for me in how i went about my music.
some is improvised and some was stuff i'd worked hard on. some elements i continue to refine to this day. it also contains my first attempt at recording myself singing, and you can tell... hah.
anyway, I used up all mums ink printing off covers and bought some jewel cases from the 2 dollar shop near coles in lilydale on Anderson st, burnt some discs and gave a few copies to some friends.
